We are very pleased to announce that our PhD Student, George Williams, who wrote his thesis on ‘Reading the Transatlantic Fiction of Walter Scott and Edgar Allan Poe’, has just passed with flying colours and made a valuable new contribution to the field. The soon to be Dr Williams was supervised by Tim Morris and Aliki Varvogli, so hearty congratulations to them all and we look forward to seeing George graduate in June.
