Origins and endings – Being Human Festival 2018, 15 – 24 November 2018

Frankenstein returns!

2018 marks the 200th anniversary of the publication of Frankenstein, or the Modern Prometheus by Mary Shelley, who lived in Dundee briefly as a teenager, partly inspiring her in writing her best known Gothic novel.

With a series of hands-on activities and immersive events, the University of Dundee is once again the Scottish hub for Being Human 2018, a Festival of the Humanities, with this year’s theme being on the chilling masterpiece Frankenstein.
