Dr Keith Williams gave a guest lecture to English Department at Montclair State University, NJ, on Wednesday 25 April. ‘James Joyce and the Magic Lantern’, was a Skype Lecture delivered to English students at Montclair State University (25 April 2018), as part of the School’s internationalisation intitiative.
Dr Williams, who is completing a book on James Joyce and Cinematicity: Before and After Film, will be chairing a panel on ‘Modalities of the Visible’, at the ‘The Art of James Joyce. XXVI International James Joyce Symposium’, University of Antwerp, 11-16 June 2018. He will also be presenting a research paper on ‘Joyce and the Art of the Moving Panorama’, alongside one of his own PhD students, who will be presenting on ‘The Stream of Consciousness and the “Camera Eye” in the Works of James Joyce and Thomas Wolfe’.
